Welcome to an exceptional bed and breakfast accommodation in the heart of Tuscany! The special holiday home with incomparable charm is located in the hinterland of the Costa degli Etruschi, in the hilly community of Guardistallo. Enjoy the unique panorama of the typical Tuscan hilly landscape and let yourself be pampered by the delicacies of the hosts, 2 brothers.
The hosts have been familiar with this place since childhood and have now created a little paradise here that they would like to share with their guests. Authenticity, respect for the environment and culture as well as the appreciation of local products are the cornerstones of their philosophy.

There are five rooms on offer, four of which are on the first floor and one on the ground floor with direct access to the garden. The rooms can each accommodate two people, one can accommodate an additional person, and another can even accommodate a maximum of four people.
All rooms are decorated in Tuscan style, with terracotta floors and ceilings with beams, rafters and tiles, and have air conditioning, heating and a mini fridge. WiFi is of course available. The bathrooms are shower rooms, equipped with a hairdryer and a shampoo-soap set.

Some rooms have a four-poster bed and a stone fireplace for a romantic stay. The room on the ground floor is wheelchair accessible and is the only one to offer an additional garden area, furnished with a table and chairs. The spacious garden is available to all guests. Dogs are also very welcome.

In addition to the lovingly furnished rooms, you can enjoy the hospitality of the 2 brothers in the Locanda, the restaurant that pampers guests in the morning and brings back a bit of the “old Tuscany” ambience that was already thought to be forgotten with the red checkered tablecloths.
A delicious breakfast with local sausages and cheeses, freshly baked croissants, bread with tomatoes and other Tuscan specialties welcomes you in the breakfast room. So you can start an eventful day feeling refreshed.
Other Tuscan delicacies are on the menu at lunch and dinner. For lunch or a small snack there is e.g. E.g. focaccia and sausage and cheese platters. You can have this snack either at the table or sitting on a blanket in the garden. There is also the opportunity to have an aperitif there in the evening before enjoying your dinner.

The two brothers proudly point out that they continue to follow their grandmother's recipes in order to present guests with the genuine flavors of traditional regional cuisine, accompanied by excellent wines from small local producers as well as the more famous Bolgheri wines.
The Bottega, the small shop, also bears witness to the connection to the traditions that were passed down to the current owners by their grandparents. There are products here that bring back childhood memories. Some of them come from the in-house garden, which was lovingly landscaped by the brothers' uncle and which still contributes to the sustainability of the dishes served in the restaurant.

The same hosts also rent this Cottage Guardistallo 2, which is located directly opposite the bed and breakfast.
If you want to get a glimpse of authentic Tuscany, set out on foot, bike or car to discover the hills surrounding the bed and breakfast. Beauty awaits you that you won't read about in the guidebooks, consisting of winding roads, villages, vineyards, fields and olive groves, pine forests, bushland, beaches and sea.

In fact, the La California beach, about 10 kilometers away, offers a wonderful day of swimming. Other beaches nearby are in Bibbona and Castagneto Carducci. There is also a dog beach not far away.
Also worth mentioning is the proximity to Bolgheri, and other interesting destinations such as Volterra, San Gimignano, Livorno, Pisa, Lucca or Siena are also suitable for day trips.
