This former Etruscan settlement is a quiet spot on earth, embedded in a green hilly landscape between the well-known cultural sites of Pisa and Volterra. The coast is only about 40 km away.

Terricciola, also called “Cittá del Vino” (=wine town), is known for its strong wine vocation. In the last 20 years, over 25 professional wineries have emerged here. In 2019, 2 wine producers from Terricciola received the “Tre Bicchieri” award from Gambero Rosso.
