The two-room holiday apartment La Mazzanta is located not far from the Etruscan Riviera in a small hamlet of the same name in the municipality of Rosignano Marittimo (Livorno province). The friendly furnished apartment is on the first floor of a modern house and offers a kitchen-living room with dining area and sofa bed, a bedroom with a double bed and an additional single bed, as well as a bathroom and washing machine. The living area is air-conditioned and the large balcony has an awning. On the ground floor, guests have at their disposal a private garage with bathroom and shower and an additional outdoor area. The apartment is 100 m from the pine forest and 200 m from the sea, making it ideal for both beach holidays and family holidays.

The small town has made a name for itself as a renowned bathing paradise, as the hamlet has repeatedly been awarded the Blue Flag for excellent water quality over the years. The beaches in the area consist partly of sand and partly of gravel. Here and there, ruins of World War II fortifications emerge from the sea. Mazzanta is surrounded by pine forest that extends to Vada in the north and to the mouth of the Cecina River in the south.

The Etruscan coast south of Livorno is very varied and presents itself in different guises: deep and endless beaches alternate with high and windy cliffs and sections protected by pine forests. There are numerous holiday resorts along this stretch of coast that are popular with both locals and tourists from the rest of Italy, especially in summer. From south to north, the Etruscan Coast includes the municipalities of Piombino, San Vincenzo, Castagneto Carducci, Bibbona, Cecina, Rosignano Marittimo and finally the capital Livorno, and it is well worth exploring the entire stretch. You should also take the time to drive inland. Just a few kilometers from the coast you are in the middle of one of the most renowned wine-growing regions in Tuscany.
