Villa Arezzo in the historic Borgo

Welcome to the historic ambience of Villa Arezzo! This stately villa is an ancient stone-built farmhouse from the late 17th century, located on the outskirts of Arezzo. The location is very panoramic and the view extends from the hills of Casentino to the city of Arezzo, about 5 km away.

The house was built by a family of magistrates of Pisan origin between the late 17th and early 18th centuries and has typical features of the rural architecture of this area, which relied primarily on regional building materials.
In 2007-2008 the villa, now classified as a Historic Monument, was completely restored with the approval and under the direct control of the “Superior Authority for the Artistic and Architectural Heritage of Arezzo”, preserving the original architectural features and using natural materials such as Wooden frames, lime plaster and handcrafted Tuscan terracotta floors were used.

The result is a unique holiday home, with living spaces that are equipped with all amenities and at the same time fit harmoniously into the Tuscan style of the area.

The former farmhouse offers two holiday apartments, both on the ground floor, but not connected internally. They offer modern comforts to meet guests' needs. Of course, free WI-FI internet access is available to guests.
The extremely tasteful furnishings are very rich in decorative pieces, elegant, classic and extremely well maintained. In both apartments the kitchenettes are extremely well equipped with a microwave, oven, freezer and dishwasher.

Both apartments each have a private covered terrace with a table and chairs. Here, even in summer, during the hottest weeks, you can sit comfortably in the shade and dine with a view of the park and the surrounding hills.

The holiday apartment GE3E can accommodate 4 (+2) people. It offers a bright living room with a fireplace and two comfortable sofas, one of which can be converted into a sofa bed, a kitchen-living room with a kitchenette and dining area, and two bedrooms, one with two single beds and one with a double bed, each with its own bathroom.

The apartment AN3E can accommodate 4 to a maximum of 5 people. Here guests have at their disposal a large living room with fireplace, kitchenette and dining area as well as two double bedrooms and two shower rooms.


It is possible to book the entire property exclusively for up to 10 (+1) people.


Adjacent to the building is the still consecrated family chapel, which is artistically very interesting in its linearity. The owners' family (friendly and very nice) lives on the first floor of the small house, which also houses an old oil mill.
The property is perfectly maintained and has a large outdoor area. A spacious, fenced park around the entire property invites you to relax. The swimming pool (13 x 6 m - min. depth 0,5 m - max. depth 1,5 m) with hot water outdoor showers (solar) and additional toilet/bathroom with washing machine is available exclusively to guests. There is a grill and a wood-fired pizza oven near the pool.
Free parking spaces are available on the property. The nearest restaurant is 600 meters from the villa.
In just 200 m there is a bus stop to get to Arezzo. From Arezzo train station there are train connections to Florence, Siena, Orvieto and Rome.

So you can e.g. For example, you can take a cooking class to discover the secrets of homemade pasta and other typical Italian dishes. You can taste typical Tuscan wines and enjoy the exclusive gastronomic specialties of the area.
Take walks through the unique Tuscan landscape and spend time in contact with nature. You can experience a different kind of relaxation in the area's natural thermal baths. Visit Bagno Vignoni and the free thermal baths of Bagni di San Filippo. Or find your balance between body, mind and soul in a yoga class.

The Arezzo Equestrian Center offers horseback excursions that promise a wonderful day in contact with animals and nature.
There is also the option to explore Tuscany by bike, individually or with organized tours.
A very typically Italian variant is the Vespa. Take a trip on a Vespa around Lake Trasimeno and admire the incredible views.
Villa Arezzo is in a convenient strategic position to reach much of central and southern Tuscany as well as destinations in Umbria and the Marche. In the surrounding area there are numerous small towns and villages worth exploring, as well as natural beauties and protected parks.
