In the heart of the Pisan hills and just a few kilometers from the sea of ​​the Etruscan Coast is this family-run, typical Tuscan agriturismo near the small town of Santa Luce. The agriturismo is located in the quiet district of Pieve on the Via del Lago (Lake Road), an unpaved country road that connects the village with the nearby Lake of Santa Luce, just 1 km away, which can be reached in a few minutes on foot or by bike .
There are three apartments on offer, two two-room apartments and one three-room apartment. All apartments are cozy and authentically furnished in a typical Tuscan style, equipped with the most important comforts and offer a fantastic panoramic view of the surrounding hilly landscape.
The “Acacia” apartment on the 1st floor can accommodate up to 6 people (number of beds 5+1). It has a large (17m2) terrace equipped with a table, chairs and deckchairs, which leads to the main entrance. The apartments “MI2E” and “OL2E” are on the ground floor and it is possible to combine them into one apartment with a maximum of 7 beds plus an additional sleeping option. “MI2E” offers space for 4 people (number of beds 3+1) and can also be rented as a double room with bathroom.
“OL2E” has one handicapped accessible bathroom and is designed for 5 people (number of beds 4+1). All holiday apartments have a separate entrance, the kitchenettes are equipped with a gas stove, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator and small freezer, and the respective bathrooms have washing machines.
A large, communal outdoor area equipped with a table, chairs and barbecue offers the opportunity to carry out tastings of both the house's own and regional products from time to time.

Agricultural

In the agriturismo's agricultural business, the areas are used for sowing grain, e.g. B. Wheat or oats, chickpeas and animal feed are used. There is also an olive grove near the property and a vineyard 2 km away, which can be visited during the harvest and at the time of pressing.
The farm is a member of the nearby “Cooperativa Produttori Agricoli Pieve di Santa Luce”, to which it supplies its products, which are sold under the name “Terre di Luce”. The cooperative, founded in 1953 on the initiative of Ente Maremma, is just 2 km from the agriturismo and invites you to visit the oil mill where the agriturismo's olives are pressed. Here you can also visit a characteristic shop selling typical local products (e.g. IGP extra virgin olive oil and “Pasta Terra di Luce”, pasta made from wheat harvested by the members themselves).

The agriturismo is home to many different species of animals, cats, farm animals (rabbits, chickens, ducks) as well as free-roaming pheasants, hawks, buzzards, hares, wild boars, deer, turtles, etc. in the fields, all part of a repopulation initiative in this region.

The kitchen

One of the most important resources and symbols of Tuscany is its cuisine. It is the enormous wealth of typical, mostly very old products that are constantly being upgraded and rediscovered, from pasta specialties to desserts and fantastic meat and fish dishes.
