The impressive Villa Montaione 2 is nestled on a picturesque hill and offers enough space for a larger group of holidaymakers. Just 5 minutes' drive from Montaione, with its charming shops, first-class restaurants and a beautiful historic center, the spacious villa is the ideal base from which to explore Tuscany.

You enter the villa via an entrance room. Furthermore, the generous total living space of 200 square meters on the ground floor extends to a living room with fireplace, TV and comfortable sofa area, a dining room, a kitchen-living room and a guest toilet. The 4 bedrooms are on the first floor. Each has a private bathroom with a shower. In two of the bedrooms, the two single beds can be put together to form a double bed. In addition, there is the possibility of extra beds for children or teenagers in each of these rooms, so there is space for a total of 10 people. For younger guests, a cot and a high chair can be provided. Each bedroom is air conditioned and all windows and doors are protected by mosquito nets, including the bathrooms.

The villa was carefully restored in 2022. During the renovation, particular attention was paid to the smallest details to ensure that the traditional features of a Tuscan home are retained. These include wooden beams and terracotta floors, which cleverly harmonize with modern furniture.

For relaxing evenings outdoors, there is a spacious veranda, equipped with comfortable seating and a dining table and with a view of the enchanting panorama. The property is easily accessible via a paved road and has a furnished outdoor area and an exclusive panoramic swimming pool, located across the street, which is exclusively available to guests, as well as the villa and its grounds.

The swimming pool offers wonderful panoramic views and is open from early April to mid-October. It has a size of 6m x 12m and a depth of 0,20m to 1,20m. It also has 8 sun loungers and shaded areas. The whirlpool with space for up to 6 people is in a panoramic position, but is currently only available in the summer months. It is the ideal place to end an eventful day full of exploration on a leisurely note.

The owner has used all her creativity to make the interior of the villa comfortable with many sophisticated details. These include chandeliers from a local artisan and hand-painted murals. The different areas are seamlessly connected to make access between them as easy as possible. A fireplace provides cozy warmth in cooler months.

The small town of Montaione has some excellent restaurants within a 2 minute drive. A special highlight for golf lovers is the Castelfalfi Golf Club (18 holes), which is only 14 km from the villa! Also 17 km away, practically “around the corner” is San Miniato, the home of the white truffle.
All in all, the villa is an ideal starting point for day trips: San Gimignano is only 20 minutes away, Volterra and San Miniato can be reached in 30 minutes. Pisa, Siena and Florence are around an hour away and are served by a regular train service, with the starting point just 15 minutes away by car.
