Experience a guided tour of the family-run Martelli pasta factory, located in the medieval town center of Lari – right next to the castle!

Here, you'll learn how spaghetti and other pasta are still made using traditional craftsmanship. Afterwards, enjoy a generous tasting of three different types of Martelli pasta—a culinary highlight for all ages! The experience is rounded off with a visit to the nearby aging cave of the Busti cheese dairy, where the "Tre Latti Lari" cheese is refined—the perfect complement to the pasta.

Optionally, you can also visit the medieval castle of Lari.

What does the program provide?

Visit to the artisanal production processes in the pasta factory:

Explanations in English or German – the tour lasts approximately 20-30 minutes.

Tasting of three pasta dishes

in the nearby restaurant, based on Martelli pasta.

Visit the atmospheric ripening grotto next to the restaurant –

This is where the "Tre Latti" matures, a special cheese made from three types of milk, produced by the renowned Busti cheese factory. It is the main ingredient of the first course of this tasting. "Spaghetti Pomodoro fresco mantecato con formaggio “Tre latti”…” see menu below).

Optionally…

Visit to the nearby castle (optional, if the castle opening hours allow it).

Three pasta dishes:

Spaghetti Pomodoro fresco mantecato con formaggio “Three lats” and spicy species
Maccheroni ragout di salsiccia
Fusilli della regina carote, mandorle, scorza di limone e formaggi busti tre latti
- 1 glass of wine (red or white)
- Water
- Espresso Moka
