We really enjoyed our holiday in the country house Chianni 4. The rustic stone house is very cozy, and you can enjoy a glass of wine in the evening on the spacious terrace.

The "escape-proof" garden was ideal for our husky to run around in, and there were no points of friction with the landlord's dogs either.

The country house is a bit remote, but we knew that and we were able to really enjoy the peace and quiet. Day trips in the area, such as: B. Pisa, Livorno or Florence are ideal.

If there was anything to criticize at all, it would be the way up and down to the country house. The last part is a gravel road with a few potholes. If you don't have an SUV like us, you could easily get by with a car.

Here is finally our promised feedback, which you can of course publish:

My husband and I, together with our dog, spent our vacation in the beautiful country house Chianni 4 for the second time. In terms of size and layout, it is perfect for two people or a family of four.

The design and furnishings are beautiful down to the last detail, in short: anyone who likes rustic stone houses will love this house!

On the spacious covered terrace you can relax and enjoy a mild summer rain. The garden is also ideal because it is completely fenced in and therefore absolutely safe for four-legged friends to escape.

The long driveway also offers a certain amount of seclusion and privacy, although during our vacation we had the feeling that we had the entire property to ourselves (which, by the way, offers a wonderful view of the surrounding area due to its upper slope location) so that we were undisturbed we.

The house is very conveniently located as a starting point for excursions, so you can easily plan day trips to the surrounding cities worth seeing. We explored the entire surrounding area by car (of course including the Chianti area - you should definitely drive off the SR 222 completely - and also the Etruscan Riviera), enjoying the wonderful landscape and always taking breaks for walks with the dog could.

It is really recommended to plan day trips spontaneously and without a fixed destination using a good map. The landscape is so beautiful that you can't get enough of it. In fact, we experienced some of the most beautiful views on routes that weren't even marked as particularly worth seeing on the map.

The highlight at the end of a day was always the excellent food at La Botteghina, where the pasta is not only listed as homemade on the menu, but actually is. Ravioli with sugo white or perfume of tartufo, papardelle with cinghiale or funghi: a poem! The bistecca ai ferri served there actually comes from Tuscan Chianina beef and not only my husband asked (this time like last year) whether there was trippa, but also the many Italians who frequented there.

Tempi passati, purtroppo. Yes, unfortunately our time there flew by, so we have to ask ourselves: What actually speaks against 3 x Chianni 4?

“Holidays with dogs – that’s an absolute dream in Chianni 4!

The guest house is actually tightly fenced and wonderfully quiet, with the perfect size, furniture and floors and a great terrace and offers complete relaxation.

The hosts are lovely, helpful where necessary and withdrawn where desired! Even Bella, the well-behaved boss dog, wasn't a problem for our reserved 12-year-old beagle girl - he noticed that she wanted to be left alone and never came over!

The pool, which was located on the adjacent premises, was available to us alone and was extremely clean and at a pleasant temperature! There are hardly any walks possible from the site as there are no paths, but after a few minutes of driving everything is possible! Shopping is possible with a large and fresh selection (for us only breakfast and snacks) and if you want to eat out, you will find very tasty restaurants in the nearby area.

The wineries are excellent and after a nice wine tasting (we were always unannounced) with lots of information, you are happy to take something home with you. And against all the rules that “we only enjoy wine when we’re on vacation,” we still enjoy it! The most important cities in Tuscany are easily accessible - you should only allow a lot of time because of the winding roads. We strongly recommend it - because people like to share beautiful things!”

Our vacation with the P. family was really nice.

Our holiday home was great, beautifully furnished and clean. The pool was great and we were mostly able to use it all by ourselves.

What was particularly nice was that we were invited to a small family celebration. Here you could get original Italian pizza from our own stone pizza oven, delicious desserts and cakes and everything your heart could desire.
