The two holiday homes are very comfortably furnished and both kitchens are well equipped. The terraces in particular offer wonderful views over the vineyards and olive tree mountains all the way to San Gimignano. A The highlight is of course the magnificent pool, the beautiful garden and the nearby town of Castellina in Chianti! We would love to come back!"
Cleanliness of the domicile: wonderful
Condition of the furnishings/equipment: older, but very comfortable
Service/customer friendliness of the landlord on site: great, all of our questions were answered immediately and we were even offered our own wine and olive oil. We also got great tips for excursions!
Service from Toscana Forum: good service, we just didn't like the wine tasting (no tour of the wine cellar possible) and the shopping vouchers weren't usable for us because they were too far away

We had a great vacation from June 17th. The Cottage Chianti 2 is lovely with its 3 terraces.
It's a shame that there was only one broken parasol and there was no shade around the house on the wonderful south/southwest terrace in the afternoon. The bed frames aren't really our thing either, but the mattresses are good.
The owner family is very friendly and the infinity pool is awesome :-).
Because there are only 2 houses for rent, relaxation is guaranteed, as there are many corners that you can use for yourself.

We have now been back in Germany for another week and are freezing in the wet northern German summer. How good that we were able to spend two weeks in Castellina in Chianti. The house is beautifully located and the sunsets are spectacular!
The swimming pool is great, even in the dark with the lighting. The host family was so welcoming and the Vinsanto was very good. During our daily walks in the vineyard we saw many animals such as porcupines, muskrats, snakes and lizards. This was very exciting, especially for our 6-year-old daughter. The flora on the property was also really diverse. Both nature lovers and friends of city trips will get their money's worth.
We'll definitely come back.
As in recent years, you have chosen exactly the right house for us. Thank you very much for that and we will hear from each other by the beginning of 2013 at the latest.

We spent 2 wonderful weeks in the two houses of the lovely D. family.
The quiet hillside location with a view of St. Giminiano is unique, the 16 x 6 m swimming pool is a stunner. This is simply an oasis between Florence and Siena and highly recommended for a relaxing holiday.
