The small 2-person apartment was perfect for us. Very nice contact with our contact person Andrea Diu. What you need to know: When outside temperatures are currently over 30 degrees, the in-house cooling system, which cannot be individually controlled, reaches its/our pain threshold despite the doors/windows being consistently closed: the room temperature of 26 to 28 degrees that can be achieved was too warm for us. Pool great. In 5 minutes walk to the village center. Everything you need. No private car parking space at the house. Next parking opportunity a few minutes around the corner.

The FeWo AL31 was beautiful. The area is very well maintained. The pool was cleaned regularly. The location and view is fantastic.
We had a really nice vacation.

What you should know:

1. The bedrooms border the village street. Ear plugs for sensitive souls are recommended.
2. The kitchenette is relatively small for 4 people. If you would like to cook a lot yourself, you will reach your limits. (Wasn't an issue for us)

Recommendation: Yes.

It was one of the nicest vacation rentals we have ever had. The pool overlooking the hills was wonderful, the expansive view is unusual for an apartment in the middle of the village. We also really liked Lajatico itself. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our vacation due to the death of my mother.

Dear Ms. Santoni,

This is the 6th time we have booked with you and we were not disappointed this time either. As always, the transaction via the Toskana Forum was quick, very friendly and competent.
The apartment itself was nice and big and spacious. There was enough space. What we liked best was the pool area, so clean and well maintained, and the view of Volterra was magnificent. It was also wonderfully quiet. In Lajatico itself there are two good small restaurants and also a small shop.
The contact on site itself went through an administration, a nice lady welcomed us. We found it very thoughtful that we received olive oil, vinegar and wine as a welcome gift. Otherwise we had no contact, which was a bit of a shame, we have always found it very nice to get to know the owners.

The only "negative" thing was that we couldn't park in the residential complex, but in a space about 350 meters away. That wasn't a big deal, except that it got us a "ticket" because we didn't see the no parking sign on Wednesday because of the market. Otherwise we felt very comfortable there and would travel there again.
