Magical nights in Lajatico: The Teatro del Silenzio 2024 conquers the world stage!

The Teatro del Silenzio 2024 promises the lucky ticket holders unforgettable experiences, captured in a television broadcast to capture the quintessence of this historic event. The rousing performances by a top-class ensemble of international artists and surprise guests will make these magical evenings of music and nostalgia against the unique backdrop of Bocelli's birthplace legendary.

Due to the impressive success of previous events, City Sound & Events, together with Mercury Studios, Maverick, Almud and Impact, are proud to present the most ambitious television and cinema project to date in Tuscany's renowned open-air arena. The prestigious stage of the Teatro del Silenzio will thus become the centerpiece of the official celebrations marking the 30th anniversary of the popular Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli. The artist has chosen his hometown, and in particular the Teatro del Silenzio, of which he is honorary president, as the location for a spectacular production with a star-studded cast that will undoubtedly attract the interest of the global media. 

Following the concert in Central Park in 2011, at which New York enthusiastically welcomed Andrea Bocelli, the Teatro del Silenzio is about to become a cultural center.

Surrounded by the picturesque Tuscan hills, the town of Lajatico will be in the spotlight for three unforgettable evenings as we celebrate the impressive career of his esteemed son together with artists from the worlds of pop and opera. Andrea Bocelli vigorously rejects the idea of ​​a “challenge,” pointing to his feelings about the night in Central Park and emphasizing instead: “I don't see it as a challenge, because these require opponents, while I am fortunate enough to be surrounded by a multitude of notable contributors including the audience, colleagues, technicians and organizers who take part in this shared journey and who I am sure will value the memories as much as I do. Music serves to unite and share emotions. After three decades on stages around the world, it is a privilege and an extraordinary opportunity to celebrate together here, where it all began. Due to overwhelming interest in the first two evenings, scheduled for July 17th and 19th, a third date, July 15th, 2024, has been added.
