Vespa World Days 2024

The Vespa World Days in Pontedera get the engines revving. More than 8000 people from 50 countries are expected.

The most popular event worldwide among Vespa enthusiasts, taking place for the first time in Pontedera from April 18 to 21, 2024, this year offers the opportunity for a double celebration as it marks the 140th anniversary of the founding of the Piaggio factory.

Pontedera, the cradle of Vespa

The small town of Pontedera in the heart of Tuscany is the cradle of Vespa, the place where everything related to this typical and unique Italian means of transport began: 140 years ago the first Piaggio was “born” and 100 years ago the factory was born in Pontedera, where the legendary Vespa originated. The “Vespa World Days” are dedicated to living a true “Tuscan experience”, getting to know the “Terre di Pisa”, the land around Pisa with its gastronomy and culture and not forgetting… the “Vespa spirit” of all of them , who live in Pontedera every day and continue to contribute to the “Vespa masterpiece” to this day. Experience the unique traditions and the special connection between industry and landscape that only this part of Tuscany can offer! The backdrop is the rolling hills and plains that stretch all the way to the sea and embody the epitome of the joy of your beloved Vespa from sunrise to sunset.

Vespa clubs from all over the world

The passionate desire of the Vespa Clubs to come together for a major international meeting became reality in 1954 with the legendary “International Gathering” in Paris. Since this first major Euro Vespa event, Vespa clubs from all over the world have come together every year to uphold the values of Vespismo. The logo already clearly illustrates the history: 140 years of Piaggio and 100 years of the plant in Pontedera, one gear symbolizes the Vespa World Club, the International Federation that unites all national clubs, the other gear emphasizes the importance of community awareness, a mechanism , which only works when everyone works together to achieve the same goal.
