+++ This post was updated on September 23, 2021 +++

Since autumn 2020, Italy has been working with a traffic light system that divides the regions into red, orange, yellow and white zones. At the beginning of April, there were only red or orange zones in Italy in which stricter measures for public life applied. Except for Sicily (yellow) it is currently Corona traffic light all over Italy on white.
