The nearest settlement is the small village of Montelopio, about 1,5 km away. Despite the idyllic and quiet location, Pisa, San Gimignano and Volterra are not far away and the other cultural magnets of Tuscany can easily be reached by car on a day trip, as can the Tyrrhenian coast with its sandy beaches. The manor house of Agriturismo Peccioli 3 dates back to the 18th century and has recently been carefully restored, taking care to maintain the original construction as much as possible. For example, T. Wall arches or the heavy wooden beam structure of the ceilings can be preserved. The brick kitchens also bear witness to the former rural life of a bygone era. After the renovation, eight holiday apartments of different sizes were created on two levels. Solid, typical Tuscan wooden furniture and wrought iron beds ensure a comfortable living experience. In addition, each apartment has a pergola covered with shady wild vines, which is equipped with garden furniture and invites you to eat outside. If you don't want to prepare food yourself, but rather treat yourself to pizza or other delicacies, you will find good quality dishes at a reasonable price in the trattoria, which is approx. 500 m away. (Further restaurant tips on request) There is plenty of parking space on the approximately 7000 square meter property and each apartment has its own furnished garden area. The tranquility of the Mediterranean vegetation invites you to relax. Idyllically located between oleander bushes, fruit trees and an olive grove, a swimming pool entices you to take a refreshing dip. A table tennis, the large double swing and the boccia court make the apartments at Agriturismo Peccioli 3 attractive for holidays with children. If you want to discover something steeped in history, there are many interesting destinations in the northern part of Tuscany (see distances below). However, there is already something like this in the small neighboring village of Montelopio (municipality peccioli) Opportunity: Over the centuries, Etruscans, Lombards, Pisans, Templars, etc. have passed through here and have all left their mark. The Agriturismo Peccioli 3 can score points with its proximity to the world-famous “Teatro Del Silenzio” by the famous tenor Andrea Bocelli. Every year in July the artist gives a concert in this almost magical place near the village of Lajatico, a visit which is an unforgettable experience.
