The Chianti 2 holiday home is part of an old Tuscan farm complex that has recently been extensively restored. Located in the middle of the Chianti Classico area between Florence and Siena, the Chianti holiday home impresses with its unique location on a natural terrace, surrounded by forests, vineyards and olive trees with a wonderful view over the valley. The next town, Castellina in Chianti, can be reached in 5 minutes by car. The carefully carried out restoration did not detract from the original charm. The Chianti 2 holiday home offers a dining room with a perfectly functioning fireplace, from here a door leads to the large panoramic terrace, where you can end the day comfortably in the evening with a view of spectacular sunsets. The kitchen is small but fully equipped. The Chianti holiday home offers space for a total of 2-4 people with 5 bedrooms. The furnishings consist almost entirely of antique furniture. The old prints, etchings and pictures on the walls come from the owners' shop. In the outdoor area, a barbecue and a panoramic terrace with a uniquely beautiful view ensure physical and psychological well-being. The Chianti holiday home is quietly located in the middle of beautiful nature and is therefore an ideal location for those seeking relaxation who want to relax away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. At the same time, the central location also offers numerous opportunities for those who are adventurous and interested in culture. There are a number of day trips from here: Siena, Florence, San Gimignano, Volterra, possibly even the Cinque Terre are just a few possible destinations. In addition, the Chianti Classico region is an Eldorado for all wine lovers. Here in the heart of the world-famous growing region is the home of “Gallo Nero”, which connoisseurs consider to be one of the best Chianti wines. A private, spacious pool (6 x 16m) with salt facility ensures you can cool off after an eventful day. A public tennis court can be reached on foot. The larger one also belongs to the property Villa Chianti 1. It is located just a few meters above the Chianti 2 holiday home and belongs to the same owner.

Attention! The guests of both houses share common use of the spacious swimming pool, the associated terrace and the surrounding garden.

At a special price it is possible to rent both houses together and thus secure exclusive use of the outdoor area (pool, garden). From time to time the owners stay in a small apartment at the other end of the villa with an independent entrance and can therefore carry out the necessary maintenance work outside. This mini apartment is only used internally by the owners and is not rented out. A few quick details about the owning family: duccio, the father, is a professor (Latin and Greek) and sommelier. He personally takes care of the Vin Santo production from the grapes in his vineyard. There is a wine cellar in the basement of Villa Chianti 1. He is happy to offer guided tours or wine tastings in German upon request. Pierangela, the mother, is a professor at the University of Siena. She teaches “Italian as a foreign language” there and has written various specialist books. Pierangela speaks German and takes personal care of the two holiday homes and their guests. Her personal concern is the property's vegetable and orchard. In addition to producing oil from her own olive grove, she produces herbal liqueurs, jams, vegetables and fruit. She has decided to plant around 40 fruit trees. These are specifically varieties that once existed in the area, e.g. Some of them were even native exclusively to Tuscany, but have now disappeared from the market for various reasons. Among these native fruit varieties rediscovered by Pierangela you can find, for example: “pera cocomera” (cucumber-pear), “mela rossa fiorentina” (red Florentine apple), “albicocco luizet” (a special type of apricot) and many more! She is happy to offer tastings in German upon request. Beatrice, the daughter, studies political science and lyrical singing. Her favorite works are:
