This holiday home is a historic house in the main square of the village of Morrona. The holiday apartment is rented on the 1st floor with a cellar and a small garden with pool, barbecue and a fantastic view of the gentle Tuscan hills. The other apartment on the 2nd floor is occasionally occupied by the owner on weekends. Except for the entrance stairs, the 2 residential units are completely independent of each other.

The Morrona 2 holiday home has a generous living space of 160 square meters, which is divided into 3 double rooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room, a dining room and a kitchen. The terrace offers approx. 20 sqm of space to relax and the garden with a pool of 50 sqm (5,80×2;90) invites you to swim and sunbathe. Additionally there is a cellar with an area of ​​109 sqm.

The rooms are tastefully decorated and offer plenty of space to relax. The first room is about 30 square meters and has a comfortable double bed, a wardrobe, bedside tables, a mirror and an armchair. A cot can also be added here if necessary. The second room also offers plenty of space and has similar furnishings. The third room is a little smaller, but also comfortably furnished. The bedrooms are arranged along a hallway, at the end of which are the bathrooms. Both are functionally furnished and offer everything you need for a pleasant stay.

The living area impresses with a comfortable corner couch, a small table and TV furniture. In the dining room there is an extendable table for 6 to 8 people, as well as a sideboard and a display cabinet. The modern kitchen is approximately 5 meters long and is equipped with all electrical appliances. A small storage room is directly accessible from the kitchen.

The terrace invites you to linger with a dining table for 6-8 people, two armchairs and a sun protection awning. There is a sink and a washing machine in the outdoor area.

The garden with pool is divided into three “terraces”: On the first terrace there are 6 sun loungers, a small table and a large parasol. The second terrace houses the pool with a sand filter system and timer to control the pump. On the third terrace there is a barbecue area with another table and 6 chairs as well as a parasol.

The house's equipment includes heating with natural gas, a pressurized water system, electricity with an output of 3 kW, a washing machine, a dishwasher, a refrigerator, a stove with 5 hobs and various kitchen utensils and electrical appliances such as a kettle, espresso machine or toaster.

A television, hairdryer and iron and ironing board complete the offer and ensure a comfortable stay in this beautiful house.

 Morrona is an inhabited town with a history that dates back to Etruscan times. This can be evidenced by numerous underground burial sites or burial chambers on the slopes of the hill on which Morrona lies. Today the village has around 360 inhabitants and has a cozy bar and a grocery store. 

The beautiful abbey church Badia di Morrona and the church of Santa Maria a Morrona just outside the village form an important religious complex in the area. In 1089 the abbey church was founded by Count Ugo della Gherardesca and from 1482 it served as the residence of the bishops of Volterra. In 1152 it was decided to move the old monastery and build the current church.

Directly near the holiday home there is a wonderful hike to Badia di Morrona, which will delight both dog owners and hiking enthusiasts.
Furthermore, numerous renowned and award-winning wineries are within walking distance of the house, and in the municipality of Terricciola (including the village of Morrona) there are a further 25 professional wineries to visit. Wine tastings can be organized for guests.

Every year towards the end of May, the popular festival “Festa dell’ Allegria” takes place in this charming village, offering music, shows, tastings and street food.
