The holiday home Brolio 1G is part of a diverse selection of holiday accommodation and is embedded in the picturesque district of San Regolo in the municipality of Gaiole in Chianti. A special option is the possibility of booking the Brolio 1G holiday home together with the Gaiole 7m cottage. These two units are adjacent and together form a self-contained property for exclusive use. Each accommodation offers its own entrance and individually delimited garden areas for maximum privacy and relaxation.

The cozy holiday home has a generous living space of 90 square meters and is ideal for four or a maximum of six people. The living room with open kitchen is equipped with a dining table and (sleeping) sofa. The two bedrooms each have double beds, which can be separated if desired. Two bathrooms, one with a bathtub and one with a shower, complete the living comfort.

The holiday home is equipped with air conditioning, satellite television, DVD player, dishwasher, oven and microwave as well as espresso and American coffee machines. WiFi can be used both inside the house and outside. Windows and doors have insect protection. Pets are welcome in the holiday home Brolio 1G and parking is of course available on the property. Smoking is not permitted in the house.

The holiday home has a large, private, fenced garden with a covered, furnished seating area and barbecue. In addition, from May to October, guests have access to a swimming pool shared with the tenants of the other holiday homes. In addition to an area for swimmers up to 2,20 m deep, there is also a separate children's pool with shallow water. Another practical, communal facility is a laundry room in which two washing machines are available for use. As an added bonus, guests are invited to help themselves to a vegetable garden where the owner grows fresh seasonal vegetables.

If the beautiful nature of the surrounding Chianti hills is not enough for you, you can reach Siena in no time and pay a visit to the famous city, where the medieval atmosphere is still alive today. Florence and Arezzo can also be easily reached on a day trip.

L'Eroica 

The Eroica event is a tribute to vintage cycling and takes place in early October in Gaiole in Chianti, very close to this charming holiday home. It is usually held on the first Sunday of the month and was first launched in 1997. Its goal is to revive historic cycling and is open to anyone who rides a pre-1980 bike with a metal frame, gears and hook pedals.

The Eroica offers various route options, ranging from 38 km to 205 km, mostly paved but also including the famous “white roads” of Tuscany. This event is not a competition, but rather a celebration of shared experiences. There is a fantastic historic bicycle market taking place during the weekend and along the route there are various stops with local delicacies, from bread and honey to salami, chickadees, sheep cheese and the traditional Tuscan bread soup, ribollita. Many participants and volunteers dress in period costumes, giving this event a colorful and festive atmosphere. The Eroica route is marked with permanent signage throughout, making it an ideal destination for passionate cyclists who want to explore the area at any time of the year. The hosts of this property place great emphasis on meeting the needs and desires of cyclists.
