The overnight stay on Lake Garda was great.
We had a nice dinner at the local pizzeria.

The apartment in Gaiole is really beautiful!
We could last longer here! I can only recommend.

As promised, here is my assessment of the stopover at Agriturismo Lago di Garda.

"At first glance, the small hotel that looked rather sober and not easy to find turned out to be a very pleasantly run accommodation with a typical Italian flair. The owners warmly welcomed us with a first very tasty aperitif from their own production. We felt at home We were immediately welcomed very comfortably and familiarly. The host also took us to the cellar vaults and showed us his production (wine, kiwi, sausage, cherries, etc.), some of which we were given to try in the evening. Delicious!

While the lady of the house prepared pasta and fresh antipasti especially for us, we first moved into our comfortably furnished, very well-kept rooms. The hotel's inner courtyard, which was laid out with white stone slabs, was particularly beautiful. Under the small side arcades you could sit at an old wooden table and simply enjoy an espresso or house wine. Since we were there for the cherry harvest, we were able to eat our fill of the great cherries - much to the delight of our daughter. The language problems that occurred (we don't speak Italian and the hosts don't speak English) were always overcome by the hospitality. Conclusion: Great accommodation for a short stopover. "
