Stayed in June 2019Recommendation: I would recommend the domicile to others, but immediately point out the neighborhood of the restaurant and that the terrace and garden are right next to a busy street during the day. For us, the advantages outweighed this small drawback
We particularly liked that the town of Canneto with its restaurant, mini-supermarket and bar was within walking distance and that one or two days we could do without the car at all. In the small pizzeria we ate one of the best pizzas since we went to Italy. The restaurant with terrace service and Tuscan specialties was highly recommended but was located right next to the apartment. You shouldn't go to bed too early. You have to weigh up the pros and cons here, for us the long evenings with restaurant service were within reasonable limits.

Now we've been back from our wonderful Tuscany vacation for almost two weeks. It was really great and we saw and experienced a lot.
We were also looking forward to a relaxing time in the holiday home. Unfortunately, the trendy deck chairs weren't available. We really missed them.

We ate at the Osteria in Canneto. A great culinary experience that we can only recommend. Nice hospitality and delicious food. The starter was a rich antipasti. Then tortelini with ragout or butter with sage. Pasta with wild boar or hare. For the main course (see photo) a delicious grilled piece of meat with vegetables and potatoes. The dog is allowed outside. Not inside, as the place is small and cozy.
Of course we also went to the pizzeria. Great food, great atmosphere and a super cool boss. We were allowed to take the dog in there. But it's important to reserve for both, otherwise you won't get a seat
But otherwise we had a really great time
