We would also like to take this opportunity to thank you very much for the wonderful days in Terricciola - you are welcome to post the following sentences online:
Our vacation at the beginning of September in the Pero apartment in Terriciola was wonderful.
Starting with the apartment (spacious and clean, lovingly, modern and practically furnished) to the garden (wonderful view from the terrace, large, largely fenced garden for the two parties in the house with lawn, vegetable patches, fig and olive trees, a real delight for our not yet fully trained puppy...), the swimming pool at the main house (absolutely clean, pleasant size), the location (on the edge of the enchanted Terricciola on a country road with little traffic, just a few steps into both the village and the surrounding vineyards , very centrally in Tuscany, less than 2 km to Volterra, San Gimignano, Pisa and Livorno and less than 50 km to Florence, Siena and Populonia) to the very (dog-friendly) family Santoni - everything is great.
To supplement the otherwise very informative and correct Internet description, we can add the following information:
– Unser Navi hat uns von der Schnellstraße Fi-Pi-Li ab der Ausfahrt Pontederra/Ponsacco über Capannoli – Selvatella – Casanova geleitet – das Haus mit den Wohnungen Melo/Pero liegt dann an dieser o.g. Landstraße vor der der ersten Kreuzung in Terricciola auf der linken Seite; vielleicht nicht der kürzeste, aber wohl der schnellste Weg!?
– Die Küchenzeile verfügt über einen Geschirrspüler, aber keinen Backofen (Info für Profiköche….), eine deutsche Filter-Kaffeemaschine ist vorhanden, das Bad ist hinter der Küchenzeile im Erdgeschoss.
– Unser Geheimtipp in nächster Umgebung: ein Abstecher nach Peccioli (ca. 10 min mit dem Auto): größeres toskanisches Dorf abseits des Touristentrubels, das zu gemütlichem Schlendern durch die schmalen Gassen, einen Rundgang an der jenseitigen Stadtmauer und einen Cappuccino mit Traumaussicht von der Cafe-Terrasse einlädt; man kann auch noch gleich am Rande durch den „Parco Prehistorico“ spazieren, wo man Dinosaurier (Glas-Fieber-Figuren) in „Lebensgröße“ bestaunen kann; auf der Rückfahrt kommt man in La Rosa an einem kleinen Einkaufszentrum mit Supermarkt vorbei (wahrscheinlich der am nächsten liegende).
