We have now been back from Tuscany for almost a week and we still look back fondly and a little wistfully on the wonderful time. It was a completely successful holiday and exactly as we had imagined.
Wir hatten über Sie in der Burg Chianti 4 das Turmzimmer „BO“ gemietet und wir fühlten uns tatsächlich in die Vergangenheit versetzt (allerdings mit dem Komfort heutiger Zeit). Die gesamte Burg ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail hergerichtet, das Personal ist überaus freundlich, der Service hervorragend und es stand jederzeit ein Ansprechpartner zur Verfügung.
Das im Preis inbegriffene Frühstück wurde im Restaurant von M. A. (auch in der Burg) serviert und bot alles was das Herz begehrt und was zum italienischen Lebensgefühl gehört – selbst gebackenes Brot, Schinken, Salami, Käse, frisches Obst, süße Sachen und verschiedene Kaffee Spezialitäten! Einfach lecker. Im Restaurant konnte man auch sehr gut zu Abend essen. Die Küche war hervorragend und dass das Restaurant jeden Abend voll war, spricht für die Qualität und den super Service von M.
We also have to mention the castle's cantina, where we stopped by for several wine tastings, as the wine produced there is also highly recommended. We couldn't help but take several bottles home with us.
