Thank you again for your friendly and smooth arrangement of our holiday accommodation.
We would be happy to give you feedback - unfortunately a little late - which you are welcome to publish. We stayed with our children in the Guardistallo 2013 country residence in apartment 2 for ten days in the summer of 9.
We really liked the accommodation, the 4-room apartment offered us plenty of space for 6 people, the two bathrooms and two mostly shady terraces are great. The apartment is tastefully and comfortably furnished, very well maintained and perfectly equipped, nothing was missing.
Nina had already provided us with detailed directions in Munich and, upon arrival, with all the necessary information and a bottle of red wine. She was always able to help us in other ways too.
The only “disturbing factor” in the house and on the terrace were the houseflies (probably an unusual number this year) that were constantly buzzing around everything edible. The mosquitoes were also not without their problems: never leave the windows open in the evening when the light is on, because the little beasts crawl through the fine fly screens and their bites last long after the holiday.
The grounds of the country residence are secluded and quiet on a hill with a wide view. The houses are built in a style typical of the landscape and are very thoughtfully laid out. Despite the proximity to the neighbors, you still feel shielded, the parking lot is invisible and shady under a thatched roof, and you don't even notice the pool in the house. The area is fenced and the children can easily run around everywhere. The pool's location on the hill is fantastic; you'll want to sit up there for a long time under a straw umbrella and look. The pool itself is well maintained and large enough for proper swimming, playing, running around and learning to swim. In the 10 days it was never “overcrowded”.
The surrounding area offers many possibilities; due to the remoteness of this place you have to travel a lot by car. We really liked the city of Volterra, but also smaller villages and the beaches behind San Vincenzo. All of us, including our big and small children, felt very comfortable with you – thank you very much!
