We've been back home for two weeks now after our wonderful vacation in Tuscany.
For the first and definitely not the last time we have booked a holiday apartment through your agency. The selection you offer is large and, above all, clear. With just a few clicks you can search for exactly the region that interests you. We decided on Chianti Castle 3 and I can only say it was a good decision.
The castle is located above the town of Giaole in Chianti and is a very well-maintained property. We initially had a bit of difficulty with our apartment because the terrace unfortunately faces the kitchen and when the restaurant opens in the evening the ventilation in this kitchen is quite loud and you can't open the bedroom window. This apartment is great for a weekend but not for a 14th day stay. Otherwise it is a nice, homely apartment for 2 people, just right for a short vacation.
So now to the absolutely positive, the employees of the hotel and the restaurant and the winery. After we were asked at the reception how we liked it, we mentioned the “lack” of terrace kitchen ventilation and have to say that a solution was found within a very short time, we were shown another apartment that was a lot bigger and suitable for our purposes simply optimal and all very, very friendly and accommodating.
Wine tasting at Chianti Castle 3: a special experience that we took advantage of twice, you can't manage all the wines in one go: well presented wines with a wonderful view. I can only say really great, good the trunk was when we left also correspondingly full:
The restaurant at the castle: nice boss, good cuisine and if you want you can also get a decent breakfast for 7 euros so you can't complain.
All in all a successful holiday with very nice trips to Siena, Lucca, Arezzo with good wines, good food and very warm people.
We would love to come back and are already looking forward to it.
