For team building in Tuscany
In a good team, it's not just the strengths of each individual that matter. For the success of a project, it is equally important that each individual member feels responsible for it. More and more companies are therefore discovering joint trips as an opportunity to strengthen the sense of community so that employees become a real team. Experts attribute the success of team building trips primarily to the change to a new environment, which constantly provides new impressions for the participants. Another positive aspect is that employees have the opportunity to express themselves
Getting to know colleagues more informally and from a completely different perspective than is possible when working at a desk every day.
After Apulia and Mallorca now in Tuscany “
The fact that team building trips can sustainably strengthen the feeling of togetherness and promote communication is also evident at the Virtimo AG, a Berlin company in the IT industry. After Apulia and Mallorca in the last two years, at the beginning of July it was time for the entire 20-person Virtimo team to pack their bags! This year we went to beautiful Tuscany for a week: near Florence, where you can not only concentrate on operational project work between vineyards and olive groves, but also have the opportunity to gain a lot of know-how in workshops and evening talks. wanted to have an exchange. “In the office it is not always possible to do something together in the evening”explains Benedikt Schütz, administration/controlling department at Virtimo and organizer of the Tuscany trip. “It’s completely different when you travel together, so you can get to know each other on a completely different level.”.Shared experiences strengthen team spirit
Of course, joint activities also help to get to know each other better and motivate the employees, which then creates a real holiday feeling. This is how it went – organized by Tuscany Forum – on a sightseeing tour to Florence and Sienna, where personal city guides picked up the guests from Berlin in terms of content. Another highlight – not just for the wine lovers and connoisseurs among the employees – followed with a Wine tasting at one of the best-known niche producers Piedmont and now also Tuscany. “The oenologist personally showed us everything from the vineyards to the wineries, gave us an insight into the wine and gave the entire team a lot of professional enthusiasm,” explains Schütz.The crowning conclusion of the trip was a shared one Cooking class with Constanza at the Renaissance Villa Sesto Fiorentino, which began with picking the ingredients together in the in-house vegetable and fruit garden and ended in the fireplace room, where the local dishes prepared by the participants were served by the hosts.
Conclusion from the organizer: “This week in Tuscany was a special experience for everyone and one that the whole team had been looking forward to for a long time. A trip like this motivates, strengthens team spirit and has positive effects in the workplace even months later.”.
